Honey Buzzards w/ Breeze Make a Booking Offer
Founding member and lead singer of The Honey Buzzards, Chris "Breeze" Barczynski, was just getting his feet wet in the music industry when the band first made a splash in the Lehigh Valley music scene. Opening for acts like Hootie and the Blowfish, Green Day, Collective Soul, Live, Fuel, and many others quickly gained them a huge regional fan base that took the band and their 30 foot RV as far north as Vermont and New Hampshire, south to Virginia Beach, west to Pittsburgh and Cleveland, and east to nearly every music venue on the Jersey shore. The band's independently released album, Salvation, sold 16,000 copies and received radio play on college and mainstream radio. A loyal LV fan base followed the band in buses to legendary clubs like CBGB's in NY, and labels began expressing interest- just as the lineup of the band, which had been a "Who's Who?" of the LV?s finest musicians, was breaking up.

Additional Info:

It was late 2000, and Chris, without a band, flipped a coin. Heads, he'd move to New York. Tails? Austin, Texas. Thus began what would be 20 years in NY and LA earning his living as a singer and songwriter. He became a Star Search semi-finalist, was a featured guest on Last Call with Carson Daley and The Early Show, as well as a cast member for two seasons on NBCs, The Singing Bee. He was taken under the wing of music legends, Ashford and Simpson, and has worked with artists as varied as Little Richard, Kevin Bacon, Sting, Debbie Harry, Sugar Ray, and Plain White Ts. He's performed for Michael McDonald and Bruce Springsteen. He has licensed his own music to TV and film, and his voice can be heard on Nickelodeon, Pokemon, Canadian Club ads, and Kidz Bop CDs. Chris has moved back to his childhood and musical roots in the LV and has breathed brand new life back into The Honey Buzzards.

He's joined this time by journeyman and multi-Lehigh Valley Music Award-winning bassist, Scott Siska. Scott and Chris have a long history of making music together and were previously bandmates in LV blues and soul band, Righteous, and Chris most recently joined Scott's band, Diesel Martini, for the last year of the bands? high energy dance rock shows.

Joining The Honey Buzzards is natural born musician, multi-instrumentalist, and singer, Ricky Bell. From age 15, he has played guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and sang in several local cover bands including She Said Sunday, Sunshine Symphony, and The Blues Brotherhood. He won a WZZO Songwriting contest in 2002 that saw him performing his own song "Shallow" on stage with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. In 2005, he won the Lehigh Valley Acoustic Performers Contest which he went on to host in 2007 - 2012. He cut his EP, Shallow, in 2007 with Rob Harari at Harariville Studios with The Ricky Bell Band. He's opened for Styx, REO Speedwagon, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Dokken and The Tubes. He has played Mayfair, Musikfest, Oktoberfest, Penn?s Peak, BB.King's in New York City, The Thunder Bay Blues Festival, and has shared the stage with Tom "Bones" Malone of The Late Show with David Letterman band, and with "Blue Lou" Marini, and Alan "Mr. Wonderful" Rubin of the Blues Brothers band.

On drums is another well known Lehigh Valley journeyman musician. Tim Nagle brings his patented energy and showmanship to the new incarnation of The Honey Buzzards, as well as a loyal fan base that supported him in his previous bands, LV favorites The Armadillos
Idle Threats, Trick Stacy, and Motherwell.

The Honey Buzzards bring stellar musicianship, showmanship, and an energetic and entertaining live show back to the stage in 2021. As we slowly re-emerge from the fear, stress, uncertainty, and insanity of this pandemic, we'll all be craving what only the community and joy of live music can provide, and The Honey Buzzards will be there to serve it up in satisfyingly succulent portions.
